Time is flying by, and we’re already halfway through 2018. You may be celebrating six months of New Year’s resolution success or looking back over the weeks and months wondering where the days went. Either way, today is a great day to take a look forward and make plans for the remaining six months.
Here are some reminders that will prove to be beneficial to you and those around you.
Compliment three people every day.
Watch a sunrise at least once.
Be the first to say, “hello.”
Live beneath your means.
Treat everyone like you want to be treated.
Never give up on anybody. Miracles happen!
Forget the “Joneses.” No one can keep up with them.
Never deprive someone of hope. It may be all she or he has.
Pray not for things, but for wisdom and courage.
Be tough-minded but tenderhearted.
Be kinder than necessary.
Don’t forget that a person’s greatest emotional need is to feel appreciated.
Keep your promises.
Learn to show cheerfulness, even when you don’t feel like it.
Remember that overnight success takes about 15 years.
Leave everything better than you found it.
Remember that winners do what losers don’t want to do.
Upon arriving at your job each morning, let the first thing you say brighten others’ day.
Don’t rain on other people’s parade.
Never waste an opportunity to tell someone you love them.
